About Content Ignite:
At Content Ignite, we maximise revenue, efficiency, and control for digital publishers through our proprietary ad-tech platform called Fusion. Fusion allows publishers to take control of on-page monetisation, ad technology, and ad management through one simple tag integration. We work with some of the largest publishers in the UK, including Global Media, National Rail, Haymarket, and are expanding into the US, EU, and the rest of the world. In this period of growth, we are looking to add a new Account Manager to our team.
Job Purpose:
As an Operations Executive, you will assist the Operations Director in the day-to-day running of business operations and processes, providing support in sales and account management, and assisting with technical third-party integrations. This role is crucial in driving revenue growth, optimising performance, and supporting the seamless execution of our services.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Sales & Onboarding
Support Sales and Account Management:
- Assist in sales processes, providing support to the Account Management (AM) team to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Act as a liaison between the Operations team, Sales, and AM, facilitating effective communication and support for technical inquiries and troubleshooting.
Assist in Daily Operations and Process Optimisation:
- Provide hands-on assistance to the Operations Director in streamlining daily business operations and processes to enhance efficiency.
- Work closely with the Operations Director to implement and monitor process improvements across the department.
Account Management
Technical Support and Integration:
- Provide technical support to clients through the Account Management and Sales teams, troubleshooting issues and ensuring smooth operation of services.
- Assist in the technical integration of third-party services and platforms, ensuring compatibility and efficiency in operations.
Performance Monitoring and Analysis:
- Proactively monitor and analyse the performance of accounts, identifying trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Create account pages in Notion that link to the appropriate data sources.
- Communicate findings and provide actionable feedback to the Account Management, Sales, and Advertising Operations teams to improve performance and resolve issues.
- Provide client insights and feedback to internal teams to inform product development and service improvements.
Contribute to Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Assist the Operations Director in identifying opportunities for positive changes in QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews), data analysis, and collection procedures.
- Support the strategic planning process by providing insights and analysis that inform decision-making and strategy development.
Ensure Best Practices and Compliance:
- Work towards adopting and maintaining best practices within the Operations team to ensure the highest standards of service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry regulations, contributing to the overall integrity and professionalism of the Operations team.
Client Growth and Retention Strategy Support:
- Play an integral role in supporting Content Ignite's client growth and retention strategies, focusing on enhancing the service delivery to publishers and advertisers.
- Foster a harmonious relationship between the Demand, Publisher, Operations, and Advertising Operations teams under the guidance of the Operations Director.
General
Contribute to Content Ignite’s Vision and Objectives:
- Support the transition and development of Content Ignite into a unified platform that disrupts the ad-tech space through innovation and service excellence.
- Assist in managing key relationships with publishers, advertisers, and partners to drive revenue growth and enhance client satisfaction.
Professional Development and Market Awareness:
- Continuously enhance personal understanding of publisher and advertiser technology, staying abreast of market trends and innovations.
- Participate in professional development opportunities, including attending industry events, to ensure the highest level of expertise and knowledge in the ad-tech field.
Flexible Working and Collaboration:
- Be prepared to work from the headquarters, co-working spaces, or remotely, with a flexible approach to collaborating with teams across different locations.
- Occasionally travel for client meetings, industry events, and company offsites, representing Content Ignite professionally and forging strong industry relationships.
Interim Responsibilities:
Marketing & Ad Operations:
- You may be required in the short term to provide assistance to the Operations Director in both the Marketing and Ad Operations teams due to cross-department skills and knowledge.
Demand:
- In assistance with the Demand team, you may be required to assist in the sale of Programmatic deals including Programmatic Guaranteed, Preferred, or Private Auction deals.
- Responsible for the seamless running and performance of deals via Deal Management, Deal Creation, and Deal Management through Google Ad Manager, DSPs, SSPs, and the ‘Fusion’ Platform.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Knowledge of operations within a digital publishing, marketing, or ad-tech environment is desired.
- An understanding of DSPs, SSPs, and programmatic advertising ecosystems is advantageous.
- Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in managing data to drive decision-making.
- Outstanding communication and teamwork abilities, fostering collaboration and innovation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving industry with flexibility to adapt and pivot strategies as needed.
